Janet Soule
Janet has a background in marketing, event management and promotions. She excels at finding new approaches to old ideas, and over the years her marketing projects, collateral pieces and websites have won numerous awards for her clients.
Prior to opening Me Communications, Janet worked for Gibbs & Soell Public Relations in Carmel, CA where she oversaw collateral development, print production and client events. After moving to Sacramento, she immersed herself in the nonprofit world, overseeing marketing and PR needs in addition to planning fundraisers, annual meetings and golf tournaments.
Following her nonprofit work, she went on to own an event-marketing firm where her leadership was instrumental in the development and success of the first annual NorCal AIDS Cycle – a four-day cycling fundraiser. The event, now in its 11th year, is responsible for generating much-needed dollars to California’s Central Valley AIDS/HIV service providers.
As a partner at Me Communications, Janet continues to find innovative ways to help clients stand out, whether through a new website design, creative wording on campaigns or adding that special touch to events, she’s a firm believer in making sure each of her client’s projects are anything but ordinary.
Janet earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Idaho and is a certified meeting professional through the Convention Liaison Council. She currently serves on the Foundation Board of UCP of Greater Sacramento and is a member of the Sacramento Public Relations Association and the Public Relations Society of America.
Outside the office, her ability to excel at a variety of projects shows. In addition to being an accomplished ceramic and glass artist, Janet is a competitive off-road triathlete, spending weekends competing in events across the country and serving as an ambassador for the XTERRA Off Road Triathlon race series.
